Start Date

Well this is the start date of my blog September 3rd 2008. The reason I started this blog is that I feel I have much to say about my life and tribulations that go with it.

I have been dealing with several subjects as of late concerning,

Lack of medical insurance

Working with in the confines of what is the Santa Barbara County Health program called MIA

Being out of work and reevaluating the structure of my life.

Lastly the growing need after watching the DNC and realizing that I have never done anything to give back to society or those with Diamond Blackfan Anemia (DBA) or my vast other medical issues.

So I hope to make this the start of a great excersize in what one human being can accopmlish with the use of a blog and website marketing skills. I honestly want to make a difference in the way that we as a country treat people with out medical benifits or health insuance how ever you want to put it. I never want to hear of another person going to a clinic and having a DR tell them you don't need those services now. When a ER doctor in a very good medical institution advised their patient to asap go see there primary care DR. about getting a transfusion. Plus the lab work supports this conclusion. I personally had this happen last week. In all my years of being in top notch medical institutions I have never once had a DR tell me NO for a transfusion. I was floored with this happened. I was so angry I did not know what to do but at the same time I felt like I went to the third world for medical care.

So my hope is over the course of this blog and a few other things I have up my sleeve to maybe be able to change some of these things.
